ICANN has posted Big Room’s .ECO application for public comment until September 26.  ICANN and its many evaluators will be following these comments closely.

Big Room’s is the only community-backed application in the environmental space. Over 50 leading environmental groups from around the world have joined in calling for ECO to be granted community protection. Every comment in support of this approach will help.

Here’s how you can comment:

Step 1: Register – To prevent abuse, ICANN requires commenters to create a profile, login, and then post their comment. You can register to comment by clicking here. The form will ask for your name, email and password. Once you submit, you will need to confirm your registration by email.

Step 2: Login — Go to the comment homepage and login using your username and password.

Step 3: Comment — You will be taken to this page, where if you scroll down you will see the submit a comment form.

- For ‘Applicant’ select ‘Big Room Inc.‘
- For Panel/Objection Ground select ‘Community‘

Then post your comment and you’re done. You can confirm it has been posted at ICANN’s ‘application comments’ page.
