UNEP Wuppertal CSCP
The UNEP Wuppertal Institute Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) provides scientific support to activities undertaken by UNEP and other organizations in the field of SCP. This support includes development, testing, implementation and monitoring of concrete projects, especially in developing countries, which enables these countries to leapfrog to sustainable consumption and production patterns using lifestyle thinking and regional perspectives as guiding principles.

Exporting to sustainability
Sustainability “made in Germany” will be the focus of the 5th Day of Foreign Trade event hosted by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin at June 4, 2013. Michael Kuhndt, Head of the CSCP, will present his viewpoint on how to achieve a Sustainable Resource Management in Consumption and Production.
China and Europe: Exchange on policy initiatives for sustainable consumption
A unique exchange between Chinese and European delegates on the topic of sustainable consumption will be organized by the CSCP on 23 May 2013 in Brussels. The Workshop "Policy Initiatives for Sustainable Consumption & the Financing of Change" will be hosted by the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED).
Sharing Economy Conference: CSCP kicks off framework discussion
On May 13, 2013 the Sharing Economy Conference brought together leading stakeholders in the field of Collaborative Consumption. Among many stakeholders from the field of Sharing Economy the CSCP participated in fruitful discussions to explore the necessary conditions to scale-up the Sharing Economy.
