One of America’s largest sustainability networks, Green America, has partnered with .ECO Council members, including Greenpeace, WWF, Green Cross and Conservation International, in support of a .ECO domain that truly represents the sustainability community.
Green America, established in 1982 as Co-op America, now has over 160,000 members and 5,000 businesses united behind its ‘Green America Seal of Approval’.
Green America’s Chief Business Officer Russ Gaskin commented, “we are delighted to support .ECO domain names that require real action in support of sustainability, and that reflect Green America’s values and commitments.”
Green America’s vision is for a world where all people have enough, where all communities are healthy and safe, and where the bounty of the earth is preserved for generations to come.
Green America, like the .ECO Council, recognizes that issues of social justice and environmental responsibility are completely linked in the quest for a sustainable world.
